Rob
Trombley
Rob Trombley is the President of Trombley Policy and Strategy LLC, partnering with philanthropy, governments, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations to translate complex policy goals into practical results that expand access, inclusion, and economic opportunity. He is an executive advisor and disability policy expert with more than 13 years of experience advancing education, workforce, and disability policy.
Previously, Rob served as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, where he led the Department's Long COVID response across more than a dozen federal agencies and advanced national efforts on workplace accommodations, state and local coordination, and youth transition.
Earlier in his career, Rob held senior budget and policy roles at the U.S. Department of Education, overseeing major federal investments under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Rehabilitation Act, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, and the Higher Education Act.
Rob holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan. He lives in Baltimore, MD.
